Dear 71ergolpo Team, I want you to know how much I appreciate your effort to preserve our rich culture, history and other initiatives for helping Bangladesh. It is very refreshing and encouraging to see some of our youths are getting involved and taking the lead for good causes.
--Miro Jangi, BABA and Chottala
My heart was filled with awe to have had the opportunity to share my personal experience of our great liberation war of 1971 at the Ekattur-er Golpo event on December 01, 2007. I thank the organizers for inviting me to speak at their gathering. These young Bengalis are really hard working and selfless volunteers who sacrificed their valuable time and energy to learn the true history of the Bangladesh liberation war directly from those who actually fought with arms during the liberation war. I was amazed to witness their energy, courage, commitment, and volunteerism to make the "Ekattur-er Golpo" program a great success.
--Mohsin Ali, Muktijoddha (Freedom Fighter)
I must say that Ekattorer Golpo has been doing marvellous work over the last three years at such crucial times when younger generations abroad are least interested in exploring our history with a sense of pride and patriotism - rising above present time partisan politics.
--Anis Ahmed, Journalist (Moderator of the Discussion Organized by Ekattor-er Golpo)
We would like to congratulate you for your successful show on December 1, 2007. Everyone did an excellent job. We will always be here to support your team and hope that you continue to carry out this spirit at all time and during your future shows. Along with many people in the audience, we enjoyed the show and look forward to attending more.
--Inam Hoq, President of BCCDI, and Insha Hoq
We have been enjoying 71er Golpo for the last three years that uniquely presents the sacrifice of 1971 freedom fighters of Bangladesh to our new generation.
--Atia Mahzabeen, Teacher, DC metro Bangla School
In essence, being a part of 71'er Golpo made me realize how much potential we, the young generation, have in promoting the history of Bangladesh and teaching the values of our culture. As a team, 71'er Golpo strives to prove to the community that today's youth can also make a difference.
--Amrin Choudhury Munia, Graduate Student, George Mason University (Performer at Ekattur-er Golpo)
I am very proud of the initiative and effort that you have put in towards this wonderful event. Not only does it provide the post '71 generation ample information about our rich historical background, it also helps people in need (whether if it is the acid victims or cyclone survivors). I just wish others appreciate such a wonderful effort just as I do. Congratulations and thank you for all your selfless efforts and hard work! Wishing you all the best and looking forward to next year's show!
--Anannya Ahmed, George Mason University Alumni '07
